This article describes the enhancements and resolved issues in Angles Professional v24.3, released on September 24th, 2024.
Angles Professional v24.3 Feature Enhancements

| UI improvements for the Schedules page | The Schedule UI feature displays the current time zone specified in the user’s profile. This enhancement informs the user about the current time zone schedule and provides a click-able link to the User Profile Settings page. Additionally, a tooltip is added that describes how users can change their time zone, if needed. |
| Automated HDP Setup |
The HDP setup is now automated to streamline the connection configuration using Angles, reducing the on-boarding complexity and accelerating time-to-value. This enhancement enables the users to securely transfer connection information such as username, password, and auth token from Angles to HDP directly from the connections page. When a connection is deleted from Angles it also gets deleted from HDP. |
Angles Professional v24.3 Resolved Issues
The following are issues resolved during the v24.3 release:
A few deleted schedules are being displayed in the UI. This issue is addressed, and the schedules are now removed from the UI.”
If an error occurs while saving the data source, the Create connection panel now remains open and displays the error to the user.
Users can now add or remove a dashboard from Favorites on the dashboards page.
When navigating between pages in a dashboard, the total record count in the sidebar now updates correctly.
The newly created dashboard is now immediately visible in the search results without requiring a page refresh.
When editing permissions to a dashboard item in the Manage Users or Manage Groups tabs, the dashboards and business views now load correctly.
The Packs page now reloads as expected, displaying the same content as before the refresh.
The tooltip in the Schedules flyout is now displayed within the flyout.
The search functionality now correctly retains and applies search criteria and promptly removes the deleted items from the display.
Clicking on items in the "Name" area of the Packs, Groups, Users, Visualizations, and Schedules pages now opens the flyout as expected.
The Search results in the Visualization search bar are now filtered properly according to the search criteria.
The User Variables section is added to the User Profile Settings interface.
The Multi-select delete option is disabled, and a warning message is now displayed when deleting dashboards using the check-box option.
The Users flyout in Mange Groups now displays the list of users in alphabetical order.
The new users added to the Manage Groups now appear at the top of the list until the list is saved.
