Setup Connections to On-Premises and Direct Data Sources
Angles Professional integrates with the Progress Hybrid Data Pipeline (HDP) to offer connectivity to multiple external systems. Using Progress software's on-premises connector eliminates the need to open VPN tunnels between customers’ data sources and ISW Cloud.
Prerequisites
Administrator access to Angles Professional
HDP username and password provided by insightsoftware
Change Password
Note: This step is required only for first-time users.
Sign in to the Progress HDP web application using the user ID and password provided by insightsoftware.
Set a new password.
Install HDP On-Premises Connector
This step is required only for data sources that are behind a firewall. Skip this step if you can access data sources from the public internet.
HDP is used to connect Angles Professional to your on-premises data sources.
The On-Premises connector can be installed on a relatively small Windows Server that has direct access to the data source.
Follow the instructions provided by insightsoftware.
Note: Contact technical support for any further queries.
