Users and Roles

AnglesProf provides controls to assign and manage user access of AnglesProf. You can be assigned to one or a combination of these roles: Viewer, Power, Designer, or Admin. This article describes the User Types in Angles Professional.

Permissions are also controlled at a Dashboard and Business view level and can be setup at a Group or User level.

Roles

Depending on your role, you have access to different privileges and permissions within AnglesProf. To view the role you are assigned, see Update profile .

Note: Only the Admin role can assign and change the different roles licensed to users.

Viewer

An AnglesProf Viewer user can view and run dashboards, change filter values, and export results.

Power

An AnglesProf Power user manages the business view permissions and dashboard permissions. This role also allows you to create and edit both dashboards and visuals. This user has all of the same abilities as a Viewer user as well.

Designer

An AnglesProf Designer user manages connections, business view permissions, and dashboard permissions. This role also allows you to create and edit dashboards, visuals, and business views. This user has all of the same abilities as a Viewer user as well.

Admin

An AnglesProf Admin license allows you to manage users, groups, connections, business view permissions, and dashboard permissions.
